A hand built mug created using a gorgeous speckled clay. I hand stamp the clay with various stars & moons then form it into a curvy mug that sits comfortably in the hand. Added to that is a beautiful appliqué of an owl that has had a manganese wash added and wiped back to enhance the details, finished off with my signature handle and a glossy glaze that shows the speckles and pools in the recessed areas to create depth and interest.
